Members & Collaboration
AnywhereSCADA supports multi-user collaboration on every space. Invite team members, assign roles, and control what each person can see and do.
Inviting Members
- Open a space and scroll to the Settings section (visible to owners)
- Find the Members area
- Enter the member's email address, select a role (Write, Read, or Callout), and click Invite
- The invited user receives an email with a link to accept

Invitation States
- Pending — invitation sent, waiting for the user to accept
- Accepted — the user joined the space
- Declined — the user chose not to join
Pending invitations appear on the invited user's Spaces dashboard where they can accept or decline.
Roles
Each member is assigned a role that controls their level of access:
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control — manages members, settings, billing, and data |
| Admin | Space management, member invitations, configuration changes |
| Write | Can view data and make changes (e.g. acknowledge alarms) |
| Read | View-only access to metrics, charts, and dashboards |
| Callout | Limited to acknowledging alarms — no dashboard access |
When inviting a new member, you can assign the Write, Read, or Callout role. The Owner role is automatically assigned to the space creator, and Admin is assigned by the owner after the member joins.
Role Capabilities
Owner & Admin:
- Invite and remove members
- Manage space settings (branding, API keys, add-ons)
- View and modify all data
- Delete the space
Write:
- View real-time metrics and historical data
- Acknowledge alarms
- Cannot manage members or space settings
Read:
- View real-time metrics and historical data
- Cannot make changes or acknowledge alarms
Callout:
- See a dedicated Active Alarms view (not the full dashboard)
- Acknowledge individual alarms or use Acknowledge All for multiple active alarms
- Receive alarm notifications via email, SMS, or voice
- No access to metrics, charts, or space settings
The Callout role is designed for on-call personnel who only need to respond to alarms, not monitor the dashboard.
Removing Members
Owners can remove members:
- Find the member in the members list under Settings
- Click the X button next to the member
- The member immediately loses access to the space
Removed members can be re-invited later if needed.
Deleting a Space
Owners can permanently delete a space:
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings section
- Click Delete Space
- A confirmation modal appears listing what will be permanently deleted: the space, historian data, broker credentials, and all metric history
- Type the space's short ID to confirm
- Click Delete — this action cannot be undone
Multiple Spaces
- A user can be a member of multiple spaces with different roles in each
- Space ownership is tied to the user who created the space
- Each space has its own independent member list
